Das ist ich. Ich bin aurie. Je deteste Deutsch. uhh.
Ok yeah. I'm 18 years old, and like I said before, I'm a first year
student at USC, home of the Gamecocks. (Yes, we do have t-shirts
that say "You can't lick our cocks". How did you ever guess?)
I'm basically a really boring person, at least I think so. But if
you really want to know about who I am, and what I'm into, read along
Music
I'm really eclectic in my choice of music. I guess my favorite
band is Jellyfish, who I've loved since I was about 10 or so.
They broke up a long time ago, but still have a loyal following I
also like Shania Twain, and one Garth Brooks song (Friends in Low Places
or whatever it's called. I call it the beer drinking song, cus I'm
bad with names). I *love* The Beatles, I'm a huge DJ Jazzy Jeff and
the Fresh Prince fan. (Read: Old Skool Rap. haha) Anything 80's is cool
with me, unless its someone sucky. Someone I can't think of at the
moment. hehe At any moment, I am prone to burst into song.
It's kinda odd, but usually a phrase or something reminds me of a phrase
in a song. And I've memorized almost every oldies song that comes
on the radio, and a bunch of other genres also.
Hobbys
I SAIL. Yup, that's it. I sail. No, j/k. But
I do love sailing. My dad owns a 30 ft. Pearson Flyer that we keep
at a large, man-made lake near our house. It's near the Savannah
River. I also write fan fiction for Trixie Belden stories. That's
my biggest obsession right now. I play
the flute, although not as well as I used to. This semester I
joined the Unviersity Band so I'm hoping my skills will un-rust themselves,
altho I'm doubting it. I also enjoy going to football games and yelling
as LOUD AS I POSSIBLY CAN. (Go Cocks! Outback Bowl Champs wooohooo!!!!!)
I'm fine now, really. I read alot, and I go to concerts. I
guess those are hobbies. I study. That's not a hobby, but it
takes up alot of my time.
Friends
My best friend in the whole world is Jason, my boyfriend of I'm guessing
almost 3 years. I don't really keep track. We've been friends forever,
and he always makes me laugh. There's Adam, the guy who really got
me and Jason to stop giving each other "fond looks". He's our
best friend, and puts up with us when we argue with one another.
(Which is pretty often, but it's gotten much better than it used to :)
We hang out lots, and when I'm in Aiken and I don't want my parents to
know I'm in Aiken, I stay at his place. And then there's the Heffas.
Margaret, Elizabeth, Ashley, and me. We went on this school trip
where the chaperones kept point out the fact that we weren't as skinny
as the other girls on the trip, and therefore couldn't squeeze into small
places in the van. uhhua. Whatever. So we made this kinda
club. We luv each other (unless they hate me, I'm not really sure)
and they're the "girls" so we have GNO (Girls Night Out) and watch movies
like Drive Me Crazy and drool over hot guys like Adrian Grenier, whose
pic I have on my Random Junk page. muwhahaha. And of course there's
Mildred, who is crazy and heaps of fun. I teased her alot in high
school, but that was just my way of telling her she was great. After
all, who else could I see drinking scope, cleaning 'blood' of hotel room
doors with toothpaste, or laugh with about pickels in ice buckets, or bras
on toillet seats.
Then there's Katie, my suitemate here at USC, who rules, even tho she
eats my Hershey's kisses, but it's ok cus I don't really like them anyway.
I just have them to stick in my coffee cus I can't live without coffee
but it tastes like warmed-up shit. And Mary Alice and Emily who live
on the 2nd floor of my dorm. They're really funny! Mary Alice
has one of those sock puppets from pets.com and a pic on her wall that
makes me giggle. (won't go there). Emily has stuff in the autoclave
and she has to go get it all the time. Yah.
