This is my first universe, and the only one I have going at the time. I'm so uninspired to write most of the time, that there'd be no way I could write TWO unis! Meagan, Cathy, Jenni J, Jenni F... I'm very jealous. Read VERY jealous. Anyway, this is the universe I've created where Jim meets Leah, his long lost sister. A southern belle turned bad, she stirs up trouble within the Bob Whites and forces them to re-adjust their thinking, as much as they change her entire way of life. I call it nature vs. nurture because of that psychological debate about whether we are shaped by biology or by our surroundings as we are brought up. Jim and Leah--prime examples, because they were brought up completely differently. So I thought it'd be interesting. Plus, since I plan on whisking away half of the Bob Whites to South Carolina, there will be a totally new breath of air thrown into their tight knit group. Although I'm no shrink, it might be fun to see how 'nurture' can change a person. Bold titles have not been started yet. Hey! This is a new thing for me! But they will all, eventually, be written--I hope. :) In Order As They Occur A Thief Named Slim. Trixie, Honey, and a shady looking character named Slim in a beat-up green car. What more ingredients do you need for a mystery? I ask you that! (February 1996) Hidden Secrets. The story that started it all. It seems Jim's past isn't all cut and dry. When Jim receives a mysterious letter from a long lost relative, mysterious things start to happen once more in the small town of Sleepyside. (June 1995) Uptown Girl. Leah's starting to settle into Bob White life. But she's turned the world upside down for one lonely club member. Will love blossom in the city that never sleeps? (July 1995) Teachers, Books, and Dirty Looks. On a school shopping trip, Trixie, Honey, and Di see something they're not supposed to. Now they must fight for their lives--and their town, in order to save it from the corruption and scandal hidden beneath the surface of placid small town life. (July 1995) Don't Speak. During TB&DL, Mart and Diana went through some major re-adjustments. But what's the real story behind their breakup? (July 1995) Ghosts in the Attic. Trixie, Honey, and Diana are just beginning to settle in to life in the Deep South and a different way of doing things. But, as always, mysteries come first. (August 1995) And Now, For Something Completely Different. Jim and Leah may be brother and sister, but that's only in word, not in deed. As they write letters back and forth, they're both amazed that they're actually growing closer, instead of allowing their fiery tempers to take over their budding relationship. (August-December 1996) When Autumn Leaves are Falling. It's Fall Break for the NYU boys, and they decide to take a road trip down to South Carolina, to check in on the girls. They only forget one little thing--to ask if it's a good time. And when one of Leah's friends goes through a traumatic experience, how will the boys handle being shoved aside? (September 1996) Wonderful. The girls are home to visit for Christmas. Trixie, in spite of Tommy, is still obsessed over the red-haired boy next door, but he's still with that nasty wench Eve. And what ever happened to Leah and Dan, anyway? It all comes to a head at the Wheeler's fancy Christmas party. (December 1996) Whispers. There's an awful lot of gossip going on at Banksia about Leah and Alex. And now Leah seems to be in the pits of despair. It's up to Honey to find out what happened in this mystery of the heart. (January 1997) The Disillusionment of Trixie Belden. Prom's supposed to be the most beautiful night of a high school girl's life. So then why is Trixie so damn miserable? (May 1997) Way Up In The West Hills. The girls, determined to make it on their own, start college at the University of South Carolina. After a year of Leah and her friends, Trixie, Honey, and Di figure it can't get much worse. Were they ever wrong! ... |
